I worked in corporate America for 15 (long) years before breaking free and starting my own business in 2016. It wasn't a straight line to success, even though that's what the internet led me to believe was to be expected. I spent a couple years losing money and then another couple making enough money to pay the bills. It wasn't until 2020 that I figured it out.

I was born to a 17 year old single mother and grew up with abusive narcissist parents. I moved out at 18. I had my first baby at 20 and was married by 21. We were homeowners at 22 and homeless at 29.
